If you’re located just outside of this area, give us a call—we may still be able to accommodate your project.     • Bylo Acres Excavation & Grading is a proud veteran-owned, small family business that has been serving the community since 2021. Our owner and operator, Ron retired from the military in May of 2023, and we're excited to focus fully on growing and improving our services. Our experience in the field, combined with the discipline and dedication instilled through military service, ensures that we bring both skill and integrity to every project. As we look to the future, our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains stronger than ever.

  • What's the difference between grading and excavation?

    • At Bylo Acres Excavation & Grading, we offer both excavation and grading services, each with its own specific purpose and benefits. Excavation is the process of removing earth to form a cavity or open space, commonly used for projects like trenching for utilities or preparing land for building structures. On the other hand, grading involves leveling the earth's surface to a specified slope, often for proper drainage or to prepare for paving or landscaping. While excavation digs into the land, grading shapes it, and both services often go hand-in-hand to ensure your land is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.

  • Do I need a permit for excavation or grading?

That being said, we do our best to schedule your project during optimal weather conditions and will communicate any necessary changes to your timeline should inclement weather arise. Our primary concern is always the safety of our team and the success of your project.

  • How is the cost of a project determined?

Additional elements like specialized attachments or materials needed may also affect the overall price. At Bylo Acres Excavation & Grading, we believe in transparent pricing and will provide you with a detailed estimate outlining all anticipated costs before we begin work.

  • Do you require a down payment?

    • Yes, to secure your spot on our schedule, we require a 25% down payment of the total project cost. If your project also involves material costs, we require a 50% deposit for the estimated materials. These deposits are due at the time of scheduling and are non-refundable. However, if your plans change, we do offer the flexibility to move your deposit to a future date within the next 6 months, provided we receive at least 2 weeks' notice before the original scheduled date.

  • Are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?

    • No, at Bylo Acres Excavation & Grading, we pride ourselves on our transparency and commitment to fair pricing. We provide detailed estimates upfront so you know exactly what you're paying for. Should the scope of work change or additional services be requested while we're on-site, we'll provide a new price quote prior to beginning any extra work. Rest assured, there will never be any hidden costs when you work with us.
